CONNECTION

A few years back, I was asked to make a pendant that would celebrate the closeness between two people, like siblings, mother and daughter, son and father or lifetime friends.

After many failed attempts, I found the perfect solution to this request. I decided to cut the same piece of wood vertically, allowing me to exhibit two halves with a continuation of the same grain pattern. Easier said than done! If both pendants did survive the “process” , the display of closeness and connection could not be any stronger.

Pendant: African zebrano wood (tropical wood with alternating grain)|
Necklace: copper, but can be removed, if buyer prefers to choose a different look.
